The performance was followed by an awards ceremony honoring the artists and performance of the year. Special thanks are also given to the seniors of the Valmiera Theater, who have devoted many years to work in the theater both on and behind the stage.
This year, in the vote of colleagues, it was decided that the title of “Actress of the Year” for the work of the past season is deserved by Ieva Estere Barkāne (“The Bad. After Dostoyevsky”, “Cohen. Atāls. Kurtuve”, “Vāards”, “Paolo and Francesca”) and Diana Krista Stafecka (“Rinda”, “SIA Gimenes rāmans”, “Koens.Atāls.Kurtuve”, “Mourning suits Elektra”). On the other hand, in the men’s category “Actor of the Year” the prize was awarded to Aksels Aizkalns (“Nelabie. According to Dostoyevsky”, “Koens.Atāls.Kurtuve”, “Sēras befits Elektrai”) and Sandis Runge (“Nelabie. According to Dostoyevsky”, “The Name”, “Paolo and Francesca’, ‘When We Wake’).
In the “Show of the year” category, determined by the audience of the Valmiera theater, the results of the vote coincide with the “Gamers’ night” jury, and the show “Nelabie. Nelabie. After Dostoevsky” directed by Elmar Senkov.

This year, the technical employee of the year award was given to the director of the performance department, Guntars Grävelsiņš.
