Gaza City: Three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Rafah. Israel shelled the Nusayrat and Buraij refugee camps in central Gaza. Clashes broke out between Israeli forces and Al-Qassam Brigades in northern Gaza. Israel also confirmed that it had resumed attacks on Gaza.
The seven-day ceasefire came after 48 days of attacks. U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinkon has told Israel that he is not opposed to a war to oust Hamas, and that precautions are needed to ensure civilian safety. Yemen’s Houthis have warned that they will continue to attack Israeli ships in the Red Sea if the attack on Gaza resumes.

Israel has said it is also in favor of extending the ceasefire if the hostage exchange continues under the previous terms. But Hamas accused Israel of repeatedly violating the terms of the cease-fire.

Meanwhile, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that what is needed in Gaza is a complete ceasefire and that more aid is needed. Guterres was speaking at the UN Security Council meeting.
