Activision has released the full details of the major update “Season 1” for the latest CoD series, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3/MWⅢ)”.

New challenges and prestige
weekly challenge
New challenges and rewards every week, starting with Season 1
Starting with the start of Season 1, you will have access to new weekly challenges. Complete any challenge you want in Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone and earn weekly rewards by completing 5 of them. The first week’s reward is an aftermarket part.
Once completed, you can earn additional XP for remaining challenges. The biggest reward for completing all eight weekly challenges is the Coherence weapon camouflage.

Players who have already reached Player Rank 55 will move to Prestige Rank from Season 1. You can rank up to maximum level 250 and prestige 5.
Please note that the ranks and prestige you reach are permanent and will not be reset between seasons.
Every time you increase your prestige, you can unlock exclusive calling cards through new challenges. Separate card sets are available for multiplayer and zombies.

About the DMZ mode that appeared in “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ll (Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2/MWll)”.
Since its release, many teams including Infinity Ward have contributed to the development of DMZ, and feedback has been received from the entire community. After the release of Season 1, you will still be able to play all content from the Warzone section of COD HQ. This includes Al Mazra, Sea Lion Island, Koscei Complex, Building 21, Vondel, and each DMZ mission.
However, DMZ will launch as a separate title from “CoD:MW3” and “Warzone,” and battle passes and store bundles will not sync. Please note that playing DMZ will not progress the Season 1 Battle Pass.
Although it can be said that DMZ has effectively ended in beta, the development team plans to continue evolving this open world experience. Future updates will be shared as soon as they are ready.
