King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima again received prize winners from the world of culture and media during the entertainment lunch on Thursday. The guests included comedian Peter Pannekoek and director Ena Sendijarevic.
Pannekoek received an invitation after winning the Poelifinario cabaret prize. Sendijarevic won a Golden Calf for best director with her film Sweet Dreams.
Other famous guests at Noordeinde Palace were the winners of the Theo d’Or and Louis d’Or: actors Mariana Aparicio and Eelco Smits. Podcast makers Edwin Koopman and Michiel Driebergen, who received the Silver Travel Microphone this year, were also present, as were cartoonist Bas van der Schot (winner of the Inktspot Prize) and writer and former journalist John Kuipers (winner of the Golden Strop).
The celebrity lunch is organized several times a year by the royal couple. They want to express their recognition and appreciation.
