Mom-to-be Rubina Dilaik remembers having an accident in her first trimester: “I still get goosebumps”

Celebrity couple Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are ready to embrace parenthood. Rubina, who is expecting twins, revealed in one of her vlogs en youtube about having suffered an accident during the first trimester of her pregnancy. He said that in July 2023 he was returning home after a periodic check and a truck hit his car from behind him. She said: “I wasn’t prepared. It was like a shock and I hit the front seat. The shock was such that I hit my back on the seat I was sitting on and then hit my head on the seat in front of me. I remember that day so well that it still gives me goosebumps. She was so petrified, so terrified, not for me, of course, for these two new lives growing inside me. I really can’t put that experience into words, the amount of fear I had; It felt like all hell broke loose. “That was my worst nightmare.”

However, the actor added that they immediately ran for an ultrasound and found that everything was normal.

Rubina also announced the news of her twins in the vlog and said, “I wish to share with you that we are expecting twins.” She mentioned that she wants to talk about the ups and downs of her twin pregnancy, the difficulties she encountered and the moments she went through. Since Rubina is in her ninth month, she revealed to her fans how she and Abhinav found out that she was expecting twins.

The expectant parents, who appeared together on the reality show Bigg Boss 14 hosted by Salman Khan, shared the good news in a joint Instagram post. The couple shared a bunch of pictures showing them posing on a yacht. While Rubina rocked the maternity look in an all-black outfit, paired with a gray bolero, Abhinav looked great in jeans and a white hoodie. In the first two photos, Abhinav Shukla can be seen cradling Rubina’s baby bump from behind her. The caption of the post read: “We promised we would explore the world together since we started dating, we got married and now we will do it as a family… we will soon welcome the little traveler!”
