Five people died in fires in Belarus in one day | Incidents

In Belarus, five people died in fires per day, reported BELTA at the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

So, on November 29 at about 17.50, rescuers received a message that a residential building was on fire in the village of Glebovichi, Berestovitsa district.

The fire destroyed property and the roof of the house. The 92-year-old owner died as a result of the fire. Before the arrival of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the neighbor managed to save the owner’s 90-year-old wife and 44-year-old daughter, a disabled person of the first group, from the burning house. Those rescued were taken to the hospital in moderate condition with combustion product poisoning. The cause of the fire is being established.

Two more people died in fires in the Minsk region – in the Pukhovichi and Volozhin districts. There are also fire victims in Gomel and the Dribinsky district of the Mogilev region.
