Al-Sunbati moved with his family to Mansoura and studied in its schools. His passion for music and singing appeared since his childhood, so he learned to play the qanun, and learned from his father old roles and stanzas. Riyad turned to learning the oud and began performing concerts until he became famous and was called Bulbul Mansoura, and began his career in the world of music.

He contributed to the production of the most prominent songs, such as Al-Atlal with Umm Kulthum, “I Saw My Love” by Muhammad Abdel Muttalib, “The Game of Days” by Warda, “Who Buys Roses” by Laila Murad, “Melody of Loyalty” by Nightingale Abdel Halim Hafez and other songs. He wrote important songs in Oudh. Record Arabic music.

Riyad Al-Sunbati’s artistic works exceed the barrier of a thousand melodies, and Umm Kulthum’s credit included 282 songs and poems, including her famous icons, “I see you as a stick of tears, and I still remember, and my heart is confused with you, and what should I tell you about longing,” and “Night and Day,” and “Flood and See,” and “Al-Atlal” and Riyad Al-Sunbati’s melody is all The poems sung by Umm Kulthum are from the poetry of Ahmed Shawqi, a total of 10 poems.
