Reaction to a video of Mask “cursing” the companies that stopped advertising with “X”

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Businessman and billionaire Elon Musk, owner of the “X”.

This came in Musk’s first interview with major media outlets, on Wednesday, since his anti-Semitic post on the X platform earlier this month, where he apologized for what he described as his “stupidest” post on social media. But he harshly criticized advertisers who left his platform due to rising anti-Semitism.

“I don’t want them to advertise,” Musk said at the New York Times DealBook Summit in New York. “If someone is blackmailing me with ads or money, go ‘fuck you.’ Is that clear? Hey Bob, if you’re in the audience, this is how I feel.” This is in reference to Disney CEO Bob Iger, who spoke earlier at the summit, on Wednesday.

Disney did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Musk’s statements.

It is noteworthy that a number of prominent brands temporarily suspended their advertising on the X platform, this month after Musk’s public embrace of the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory favored by white supremacists.
