A total of nine teams have been confirmed to be eliminated from Liga Champions after the end of the fifth week which took place this week.
There are only two groups where the four clubs can still be sure of qualifying for the next round. In Group A, Copenhagen, Galatasaray and Manchester United still have a chance to accompany Bayern Munich to qualify.
Meanwhile, from Group F, only Borussia Dortmund are certain to qualify. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain, Newcastle United and AC Milan still have a chance to qualify.
In Group B, Lens and Sevilla are certain to be eliminated. Lens (5 points) and Sevilla (2 points) can no longer catch up with PSV (8 points) in second place. Lens and Sevilla are just fighting for a position to qualify for the Europa League in the last match.
Sevilla are certain to be eliminated after losing dramatically to PSV 2-3 at home. Having won by two goals, Sergio Ramos and his friends finally lost 2-3.
Union Berlin are confirmed to be eliminated from Group C of the Champions League. Likewise Red Bull Salzburg and Benfica from Group D, Feyenoord and Celtic from Group E.
From Group G, Red Star Belgrade is the only club that has been confirmed to be eliminated. Meanwhile, in Group H, Belgian club Antwerp has also been confirmed to be eliminated.
The final matchday of the Champions League this season will be held on 12-13 December.
