Kochi – In the case of sexually assaulting a young woman who had sought legal help in a molestation case, the senior government pleader of the High Court, P.G. Manu was fired. The Advocate General took a resignation letter from Manu. The complainant, a 25-year-old native of Kochi, will be produced before the magistrate today and her confidential statement will be recorded. The woman lodged a complaint with the Chotanikara police. A case has been registered under rape, humiliation of womanhood and various IT departments. It was decided to expel him after the incident became a total embarrassment.

The woman, who was the victim of a rape case in 2018, approached Manu seeking legal help after the case did not go anywhere. The woman was assisted in the case by an ASI who was then an investigating officer. According to him, this young woman approaches the government pleader seeking help. The girl first informed her mother about the torture. On the instructions of the mother, a written complaint was filed with the police. They tried to break into his office twice. Later, he went to the woman’s house and sexually assaulted her. He was summoned in connection with the case on October 11. He asked his father to go out and tried to torture him even that day.

After continuing the obscene conversation through WhatsApp calls and chats, the accused forcibly came home on the 24th. He pushed open the door and entered and made sure that his parents and brother were not at home and tortured him. Later, the accused came home when his mother was present to understand his completely broken attitude after the torture. When her mother, who was suspicious of her behavior when she saw the accused, inquired, she had the courage to open up about the matter. In the complaint, the woman also said that apart from the torture, the accused took pictures of her naked body.

The complainant alleges that she abused her power and made her believe, cheated and cheated her and physically tortured her.

“If this case, which has been in hell for five years, is to be resolved, I must cooperate in all the ways requested. Only then will the case be resolved. It’s not what you think. It is also alleged that when she cried after hearing this, Manu stepped in to comfort her.
