Yelmo Cines Berceo has given a “twist” to the experience of going to the movies as a family. As reported by ‘El Balcón de Mateo’the Junior room is the name of the space that opened a few days ago and is for exclusive use so that families with girls and boys can enjoy the cinema.
Among other attractions, this room has a giant slide inside, which crosses the room from top to bottom, and a play park. In this recreation area they can play for 15 minutes before the screening begins and also during a 15-minute break in the middle of the film.
This is not all, since this Junior Room will have the usual seats and, as a novelty, four sun loungers and nine double ‘beanbag’ sofas, which are located in the first rows and can be reserved at the time of purchasing the tickets.
According to Daniel Bielsa, manager of Cines Yelmo, the Sala Junior already operates successfully in eleven other Spanish cities. Furthermore, he indicates: “adults will never be able to enter this room alone, they will always have to do so accompanied by a boy or girl.”
The Junior Room has been operational since last Friday and has capacity for 110 people. In addition, it will soon be used to celebrate children’s birthdays.
