Investing.com – US stocks were mixed at the end of trading on Wednesday, as gains in the , , and . On the other hand, losses were recorded in the , and , sectors, which led the indices lower.

At the end of trading in New York, it recorded an increase of 0.04%, and within 3 months it reached its highest record level, while it weakened by about 0.09% and fell by about 0.16%.

Among today’s leading stocks was Salesforce Inc (NYSE:), which rose 2.43%, or 5.46 points, to trade at 230.38 at the close. On the other hand, Intel Group shares (NASDAQ:) continued to rise at 1.61%, or 0.71 points, and closed at 44.94, while Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE:) shares increased 1.58%, or 5.28 points, at 340.18 at the end of the session.

As for the weakest performance at the end of today’s trading, Walmart Stores (NYSE:) stock closed down 1.59%, or 2.53 points, and traded at 156.11 at the close. Arrow Chevron Corp (NYSE:) fell by 1.09%, or 1.59 points, to a price of 143.92, while Microsoft Group (NASDAQ:) shares closed down by 1.01%, or 3.85 points, to a price of 378.85.

On the other hand, the best performance in the Standard & Poor’s 500 index was recorded by NetApp stock (NASDAQ:), which rose by 14.63% at a price of 89.54. General Motors (NYSE:) also continued its rise at 9.35% and closed at 31.59 levels. And also an arrow Charles Schwab Corp (NYSE:) rose about 6.83% and ended its trading at 59.62.

Among the weakest performing stocks today, we mention the company’s stock Cigna Corp (NYSE:), which fell by 8.12% and closed its session at 262.86, Humana Inc. (NYSE:), which lost 5.52% at 482.26 and Las Vegas Sands (NYSE:), which weakened by 4.89% and closed at 45.33 today’s session on the stock exchange.

On the other hand, the best performance in the Nasdaq index was recorded by Vivos Therapeutics (NASDAQ:), which rose by 831.82% at 41.00, Altamira Therapeutics Ltd (NASDAQ:) also continued its rise at 180.22% and closed at 0.64 levels, as well as Arrow Yoshiharu Global Co (NASDAQ:) rose by 92.69% and ended its trading at 9.23.

Among the weakest performing stocks today, we mention the company’s stock Biovie Inc (NASDAQ:), which fell by 60.72% and closed its session at 1.96, stock Treasure Global Inc (NASDAQ:), which lost 49.37% at 0.10, and Seelos Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:), which lost 47.48% to close at 1.25 in today’s stock market session.

The number of stocks that rose exceeded the number of stocks that closed lower in trading on the New York Stock Exchange, with 1884 compared to 1027, while 65 remained unchanged.
