Libreville, Wednesday November 29, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – The cell placed under the authority of the Prime Minister, head of government, Raymond Ndong Sima, has the mission of coming to the aid of the affected populations.
Gabon is not immune to the torrential rains which fall on the continent, causing significant human and material damage. Several localities were shaken by these floods with significant losses recorded. The Government of the Republic, which has taken the full measure of the situation, has set up a Crisis Committee to locate risk areas and take the necessary measures to come to the aid of affected families.
An assessment drawn up by the Prime Minister, head of government, Raymond Ndong Sima, the torrential rains that occurred at PK 8 in the 6e district of the commune of Libreville are the cause of the death of an expatriate and led to landslides, floods and destroyed several homes.
