[Reporter Hong Meixiu/Report from Hsinchu]To pray for world peace, Japanese ultramarathon runner Ryoichi Seki returned to Taiwan after 11 years this year. He set off from Soochow University in Taipei City on November 14 and once again ran Taiwan clockwise in 17 days. The total distance of the lap is about 1,115 kilometers. This is the first anniversary of the 2012 March 11 earthquake in Japan. After Ryoichi Kwan ran 1,100 kilometers in 13 days to thank Taiwan for its assistance to Japan, this year we saw the war between Israel and Kazakhstan and Russia. During the Uzbek War, he once again came to Taiwan to run around Taiwan. Guan Jialiangyi has endorsed the Hsinchu City Marathon three times. After starting from the Chaoshan Police Station in Hsinchu City today, he also detoured to Dongmen City, and there were many Hsinchu runners. Running with friends, I hope all runners can run happily.

Chen Jincai, an ultra-marathon expert who assisted Guan Jialiang in running the Taipei Road in Hsinchu City, and Yan Zhangsheng, former director of the city’s marketing department, also accompanied Guan Jialiang on the run today. Chen Jincai said that Guan Jialiangyi saw the war between Israel and Hamas, Ukraine The war with Russia has not stopped yet, so I chose to run around the stage as I am good at, hoping to pray for world peace. Because he was deeply cared for by Taiwan in the past, he promised to tour Taiwan again after his last trip around the island. Now that there is a war in some places, he also deeply feels how happy it is to be able to run freely.

Guan Jialiang ran nearly 1,000 kilometers in 15 days. He set off from Longgang, Miaoli at 6 a.m. on November 29. The run would pass through Hsinchu County and City to Zhongli. Due to the cold, wet and headwinds all the way north during the Hsinchu section of the Taiwan Tour in 2012, it was difficult to reach Hsinchu. We stopped for a rest at the Chaoshan Police Station in the city and felt the enthusiasm of the Taiwanese people and the cordial and warm service of the police. This time around Taiwan, we planned to visit the Chaoshan Police Station again to express our gratitude for the warm service of the police station. At 10:30 in the morning, we also passed Dongmen City, and ran into Zhuke Management with runners from Hsinchu, then crossed Touqianxi Tofu Rock to Zhubei, and were accompanied by the Far East Textile Jogging Club to Xinpu and Zhongli for the follow-up trip.

Yan Zhangsheng also mentioned that Guan Jialiangyi has run around Taiwan twice and was the spokesperson for three Hsinchu City Marathons in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Therefore, he has a particularly strong relationship with Hsinchu, and many Hsinchu runners have a deep affection for Guan Jialiangyi. We are all familiar with it. When he learned that Guan Jialiang was running around Taiwan again, he also took time off to run with him to support this meaningful activity.

Hsinchu City police officer Chen Jincai, who is also an ultramarathon expert, said that Ryoichi Kwan is a Japanese ultramarathon athlete. He was the Asian record holder for 24-hour ultramarathons, won 4 World Cup championships, and wrote seven consecutive Soochow ultramarathons. In 2012, it was the first anniversary of the 311 earthquake in Japan. Ryoichi Kwan also ran a lap around Taiwan to thank Taiwan for its assistance to Japan. He is very close to Taiwan. This time he ran around Taiwan again. As a resident in Hsinchu For local runners, we will definitely assist and support you throughout the entire process.
