The Mischa Spoliansky Revue on the occasion of his 125th birthday
Mischa Spoliansky, together with Friedrich Hollaender and Werner Richard Heymann, was one of the most creative composers of cabaret texts, chansons, hits and revues in the 1920s. He wrote the song “When the best friend with the best friend” for Marlene Dietrich and the world hit “Tonight or Never” for Jan Kiepura. With this hit he secured his livelihood while emigrating to England.
