Young English talent from Juventus, Samuel Iling-Junior (20 years old) intends to establish himself in Piedmont. The one who entered the professional group for several months plans to continue his adventure in Italy despite the latest rumors of departure during the next winter transfer window.
Invited to participate in the latest podcast created by Juventus ‘Stories of Strenght’, who talks about the mental health of young players, Samuel Iling-Junior spoke about his start to his career in Italy and wearing the bianconera tunic is a real pleasure for the former Chelsea Blues hopeful. “I left home at 16, entering a new world. So I had to be independent and start doing things on my own. It worked out well. I learned to cook and to keep the accounts on my own. My parents took over and came back to see me. I was two hours from home. At first, I was afraid. But after a while, I I’m over it. That’s what made me stronger and today I don’t regret anything.” Explains the 20-year-old player who returned to his Turin adaptation.
“I would say it was quite easy. The way things work, we are always together. So if I go to visit the first team and we have to train together, there is someone who talks English and then I learned Italian. The organization was fundamental and if I was in the first team, I then moved to the Next Gen. And this experience taught me even more. I joined the Juventus and the decision was quite quick and simple. Exactly, it was an easy choice. Juventus is a winning team, everything is about winning and that’s all we talk about. Obviously you always want to win with your team. And Juventus is the right place.” Recalled the London native who sees himself staying at the club this winter even if a loan could be beneficial in his progress. His contract runs until June 2025…
