King Saud University organizes the Sixth International Psychiatry Conference

Under the patronage of the President of King Saud University, Dr. Badran bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, the Department of Psychiatry at the College of Medicine and the University Medical City, in cooperation with the SABIC Chair for Mental Health Research and Applications, is organizing the “Sixth World Conference on Psychiatry,” entitled: “Mental Health for Adults” and the accompanying exhibition, during The period from November 30 to December 2, 2023 AD, in the main lobby of the university, with the participation of more than 50 local and international speakers.
This was explained by the conference president, Dr. Ahmed bin Nayef Al-Hadi, adding that the conference will discuss many topics related to prevention and early diagnosis of mental disorders, psychotherapy, social interventions, communication medicine and communication therapy, the first episode of psychosis, women’s mental health, substance abuse and mental health, and teaching. And training in mental health…noting that workshops and scientific lectures will be held on the sidelines of the conference with the participation of an elite group of mental health specialists.
It is noteworthy that the conference is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, with 14 hours of continuing education.
