In response to this, the school responded that Miaomiao suddenly fainted during physical education class and died after resuscitation. It was a sudden death. A criminal case has been ruled out and the school has no responsibility.
“Zong Pan News” reported that the incident happened at about 5 pm on the 13th. Zheng received a call from the school teacher saying that Miaomiao fell while running on the playground. She rushed to the school and saw medical staff treating her daughter when she arrived. After cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Miao Miao was rushed to Xinyang Central Hospital for rescue, but the child was eventually pronounced dead.
Zheng said that the person in charge of the school told her parents that Miao Miao was in physical education class when the accident happened. After jogging 2 laps, she suddenly fainted while waiting in line. However, her daughter is usually in good health and has no chronic or genetic diseases. Her family did not understand why she was still in the queue in the morning. A good person disappeared after arriving at school. “We just want to find out what happened at that time and why the child suddenly disappeared. This request is not too much.”
On the night of the incident, the family decided to call the police and demand an investigation into the truth. Miaomiao’s father continued to contact the school. He said that the person in charge of the school initially said that the surveillance was broken, and later said that the surveillance had a blind spot and did not capture the situation at that time. However, the place where Miaomiao’s accident occurred was not a blind spot. Why was there no surveillance? The family members expressed disapproval of the school’s explanation. So far, the school has not provided any surveillance for Miaomiao’s family to check.
In response, the principal responded that after the incident, the political and legal committee of the Xinyang City Shihe District Committee, the public security, and education departments immediately intervened in the investigation. At present, it has been concluded that the student fainted after jogging 2 laps during physical education class. He died after resuscitation failed. The cause of death was sudden death. Criminal cases have been ruled out. Since there is no surveillance installed in the playground, surveillance video cannot be provided. This does not mean that we refuse to provide it.
The principal emphasized that the school has no responsibility for this matter, but for humanitarian considerations, it will provide a certain amount of compensation to the family. It is still actively negotiating with the parents and has not yet reached an agreement. Staff from the Education and Sports Bureau of Xinyang City’s Shihe District said that multiple departments in the district have intervened in the matter and are coordinating and handling it.
