The Colombian rock band Aterciopelados began this Monday in the United States the ‘El Dorado’ tour, an album that catapulted the Bogotá duo to fame almost three decades ago, and will bring classic songs from their repertoire to the stages of nine cities such as ” Florecita rockera’, ‘Maligno’ or ‘Bolero fallacious’, the organization reported this Tuesday.
The ‘El Dorado Tour’, which was already presented this Monday in Seattle, will continue in the city of Portland (November 28), Berkeley (November 30), Los Angeles (December 2), Santa Ana (December 3) San Diego (December 4), Chicago (December 6), New York (December 8) and Washington (December 9).

After the US tour, the Bogotá duo will participate on December 11 in a special event for a project supported by the European Union in Mexico, on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights, the statement said.
On their US tour, singer Andrea Echeverri and bassist Héctor Buitrago will perform some of their star songs.
With verses where they sing about impossible loves, the preservation of the environment and possible peace processes, the band became known in the 1990s with some studio albums that were included in the list of “The 250 most important albums”. of Ibero-American rock” that was published by the American magazine Al Borde in 2006.
