As every year, Paste Magazine is one of the first publications to publish a list of the best games of the current year in terms of gaming with a nomination for game of the year. This year that honor went to Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake 2, but the list, as always, holds plenty of surprises.
Please note that Paste Magazine does not categorize games and mixes AAA and indie games, often expressing conflicting opinions, at least relative to public sentiment. For example, we see that here Baldur’s Gate 3 settled only in 23rd position, while very small but high-quality games such as Venba or El Paso, Elsewhere were higher.
