Singer Ju Moraes vented in her social media on Sunday (26) for being disrespected by her team during a show held for a company in Brasília. On social media, the artist explains the whole situation of disrespect towards the team and how it was partially motivated by jealousy towards a pregnant woman because her husband was looking at Moraes.

The singer was still in Brasília when she recorded the video reporting about the show. The contract was carried out by an agency hired by another agency directly connected with the event.

The artist and her team left Salvador at six in the morning and landed in Brasília at eight. When arriving at the sound check, everything was assembled and as agreed.

“It was completely absurd disrespect from the moment we stepped into the event. As scheduled, we started the sound check, played some songs, and then during the sound check, one of the event producers called me. ‘Hi, Ju, how are you? I love your work, I know you are an empowered woman, a lesbian, a political being. But today here we can’t talk about it, it’s against the bank’s policy to talk about politics’. Then I took that first hit and the producer who was next to me, even though he is a gay man, was shocked. My show doesn’t start by saying, ‘hi, I’m Ju Moraes, a lesbian woman’”, says the singer.

The artist reports in the video that she does not necessarily bring her personal and sexual positions to the stage during events, but her audience can bring them through Ju Moraes’ authorial repertoire. With the show scheduled for five in the afternoon, the team and the singer were surprised to receive a call from the event’s production team stating that they would need to go on stage at half past three in the afternoon, but the reality is that they wanted to start at half past one. .

Upon returning to the event location at three o’clock, Ju Moraes and his team had to carry out the pre-show procedures in a hurry because they were only given thirty minutes to get ready. During the video, the singer reported that she would not repeat events with the contractor because she had been treated disrespectfully several times, including when they broke the preparation protocol to enter the stage.

Ju Moraes, who has already been to the capital of Brazil for other corporate events, mixes his repertoire with popular songs during commercial events. “I’m good at making repertoire, no one can take that away from me”, reported the singer.

The first song was “Milagres do Povo” by Caetano Veloso and the second “Deusa do Amor”, composed by Valter Farias. While the second song was being performed, the supposed bank president went to the singer’s production team to rudely request another song, as she claimed that no one there knew the song.

The show continued smoothly until Ju Moraes sang “Very Thank You Axé” by Ivete Sangalo. Once again, the supposed president went to the singer’s production team to say that Moraes needed to sing another song, as no one knew the song.

“Several things happened, it was simply one thing worse than the other. A huge lack of politeness, she walked in front of the stage and spoke pointing at the musicians or pointing at us”, reported the artist.

At the end of the show, Ju Moraes’ bassist told her that that wouldn’t be happening due to the repertoire selected by the band.

“I only saw the confusion happening on my right side here, with my production being attacked. And I only understood why later, my bass player saw what happened when I went on stage. It was a jealousy crisis. It was a woman, she was pregnant, and she was with her husband at the party, she didn’t like it when her husband looked at me, the way he looked at me. She turned him away from the stage, according to my musician who saw the whole thing. He said ‘Ju, it was nothing, it wasn’t her repertoire, she wasn’t upset about it, because the public was enjoying it’. And I understood. We know when people want to enjoy themselves”, said Ju Moraes.

After the incident, the singer still jokes that she should have announced to the public that due to her sexuality she would not “attack her husband” and that people are losing track of the absurdity. She did not mention names during the outburst on social media and insisted on the request out of respect, both for herself and her team.

“It’s the first time I’ve seen something so bizarre happen. We were harassed, we were mistreated. And the big finale, did you see it? Nature, after all that, decided to destroy her event. It didn’t end and it caused a loss, no. The LED is over, the sound is over, the show is over, everything is over. In the last song, we played and the world ended”, concluded Ju Moraes.
