Excuses
The manager denies that there was a ‘blow’. That story circulated on social media on Sunday. “It was a disturbance with some young people with scooters, no traffic dispute. Some ugly things were said, then Douwe hit Bob on the helmet.” He also states that the singer has ‘a lot of regrets’. He visited the boy to apologize and offer flowers, according to his manager, who reported that the incident had not been reported.

Simon Posthuma died in 2020 from the consequences of Korsakoff’s syndrome, a condition associated with alcohol addiction.
