Everything is fine in Eindhoven at the moment, Perez notes, but according to the ESPN analyst, trainer Peter Bosz will run into problems if Schouten or Veerman disappears. “I think they are missing a stand-in for Schouten and Veerman,” Perez adds This Was The Weekend op ESPN.
“Schouten and Veerman are not irreplaceable, but PSV simply does not have anyone who resembles those two,” continues the Dane, who sees Olivier Boscagli, Ismael Saibari and Malik Tillman as potential replacements. “But PSV has had success with types like Schouten and Veerman. They don’t have to get exactly the same type, but it has to be someone who thinks about the residual defense and can participate in the build-up.”
