A man was injured in a stabbing on Eosstraat in Oud-Zuid this evening and was taken to hospital. A window in an apartment was also shattered. The police were immediately able to arrest a suspect.
The police received a report of a fight and stabbing in Eosstraat in the Stadionbuurt on Sunday evening around 8:15 p.m. According to the reporter, two men were involved in an argument in the street that resulted in a stabbing. A window in one of the adjacent apartments was also broken.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found the two arguing men, one of whom had a ‘heavy stab wound’, a police spokesperson said. The injured man was taken to hospital and the other man was arrested. The police are investigating what exactly happened.
