Tomasz List in the Journalist’s podcast. The journalist referred to the second marriage
During a chat with the podcaster, Lis again revealed some personal facts. Talking about his greatest passion, running, which he had to give up due to his health condition, the 57-year-old referred to his second wife, i.e.
Hanny Lis
from whom he officially divorced in 2022.
My second wife thought running was an escape
– he confessed.
That it was a cure for depression, a way to gain solitude, and she wasn’t a big fan of it. Because for a few years my whole life revolved around it.
Then the Journalist asked his interlocutor to comment on the rumors that he had used doping in the past. When asked if he took illegal substances to improve performance and strength, Tomasz replied:
NO. How did this person know what I was running on? I was running on the water and had pockets full of various gels. I had all the tactics when I take these gels.
Talking about his current health condition, the journalist said that “somehow he got back on track.” However, the 57-year-old does not hide the fact that the consequences of four strokes are strongly felt by him.
Operationally and functionally, I can handle it
– he assessed.
I will not complain about my fate. I’m a bit angry with God for taking away this sport from me. I loved it very much.
Then the conversation turned to politics. The fox stated that
“conflicts are avoided because they are an element of stress and he has a tendency to escape”
. Despite this, the former editor-in-chief of “Newsweek” willingly expresses his sometimes quite controversial opinions, which divide Internet users. After discrediting Andrzej Duda as president, Lis decided to complain about (in his opinion) fascism spreading in left-wing circles, which – as he suggests –
falls victim.

When asked what he thought about the legalization of same-sex marriage, Lis did not give a clear answer, while admitting that his beliefs were somewhat influenced by his daughters, 27-year-old Pola and 23-year-old Iga.

I don’t always agree with them. I respect their views. I think I learned a lot from them, they scolded me many times.
