The Next Target of Russian Aggression: Eastern Europe and East Germany

If Ukraine loses the war with the aggressor country Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin will start planning his next goal – the occupation of Eastern European countries. In particular, East Germany still remains on the Russian dictator’s priority list.

Military expert Vladislav Seleznev expressed this opinion in an interview with Obozrevatel. “It is important to convey to our respected Western partners that the Russian Federation, Putin himself, will not limit himself to aggression against Ukraine,” he emphasized.

“If Ukraine does not withstand this attack and falls, the next target of Russian attacks will be Eastern Europe,” the expert is convinced. Thus, according to his estimates, “in the zone of attention” of the president of the Russian Federation are the Baltic states, the countries that were once members of the Warsaw Pact organization, and even part of Germany.

“The eastern part of Germany will also be a target and priority for the military campaign of Putin’s army,” Seleznev is convinced.

In this context, he stressed: it is extremely important that Ukraine’s Western allies realize this danger. “The effectiveness of the actions of the Ukrainian army will directly depend on the resource capabilities. It is obvious that having enough weapons, equipment and ammunition, the Ukrainian army will be effective not only in defense, but also in counteroffensive and offensive measures,” the expert said.

“Otherwise, we will face serious losses, conducting military operations in strategic defense and, very likely, territorial losses,” he warned. Ukraine has long warned that if the dictator Putin wins this war, he will not limit himself to Ukrainian lands, but attack NATO.
