How does gender violence affect society?

Despite having multiple organizations dedicated to protecting women, the figures are worrying. At a global level, it is estimated that 736 million have been victims of violencefacing situations that endanger their integrity.

The United Nations shares that the 86% of girls live in countries that do not protect them legally against different types of violence.

Only in Mexico, more than 3000 women are murdered a year regardless of their socioeconomic level or social status. A crisis that continues to grow.

Why is it important to commemorate this day?

It has a positive impact for those who do not know how to identify if they are experiencing abuse and who seek to feel accompanied.

Raise awareness in society by allowing changes in attitudes and perceptions that give way to respect and gender equality.

Support and resources are offered to many people, giving them tools to take the control over their lives and stand up to abuse.
