Strictly educated Parisian Brigitte Bardot feels ugly and unloved. When she meets her first love, Roger Vadim, she grows up, emancipates herself and challenges the generally accepted norms. In 1956, the release of Vadim’s film “And God Created a Woman”, where Bardo plays the main role, causes a global sexual revolution.
