So I tried one of the “unbranded” ones – I’m quite satisfied with the display that’s there, it’s quite matte and bright enough for use outside, just not when the sun shines directly on the display, I’m also not offended by the expandability, 2 slots for ddr5 and 3 m. 2, while, two are the long ones, 60Wh, 1.5kg. It has several usb4 with full bandwidth and alternative mods, actually it is the first laptop where simply usb-c display, power supply and data work without dropouts and problems. He was not surprised if usb-c would work because they simply took some “bios” from the bios manufacturer, left it there as is and did not make “improvements” thereIt just has some inf that registers it and that solves the installation of the drivers, the only custom sw is setting the cpu consumption limit via fn f1.Even if I wouldn’t deal with the price, the branded ones just don’t work, because they are always worse and I’m not writing about their SW solutions.It’s not perfect, it still has a power button with a fingerprint reader (a real one, not a fake reader, which is actually a camera like many phones have had in recent years) above the keyboard and not on the side. Otherwise, I haven’t come up with anything yet. So it’s not perfect either, but the least evil.It’s true that someone who wants an oled mirror will probably be more attracted to a macbook, but why don’t they just buy a mac with that arm?Hp firefly is the closest comparable branded laptop – it has a worse battery, worse sw, a power button between the keyboard keys, a worse display, and it has only one disk slot. So why not buy a better laptop for half the price next time and not support the branded ones?I don’t think that the attitude of branded “manufacturers” will change if people buy from them. I don’t understand how you rant about how bad it is and buy it anyway.
