Brasov residents can do free tests to detect cervical cancer today and on Sunday, in the parking lot of a mall in the Tractorul district, as part of the mobile caravan for cervical cancer screening.
The event coordinator for the Brașov area, Voichița Pantea, gave us details:
“The initiative is of the Trgu Mureș County Emergency Clinical Hospital, which runs the cervical cancer screening project. Testing is done for women between the ages of 24 and 29, Babeș-Papanicolau testing, and women between the ages of 30 and 64 benefit from free HPV testing. It is an initiative, I say, beneficial for all women, considering the incidence of colon cancer”.
Residents of Brasov can show up regardless of whether they have made an appointment or not and regardless of whether they are insured or not. It is only necessary to have the bulletin with them and to fill out a form.
The ladies who have already gone through these procedures say that it is very important that the analyzes are done:
On Sunday, tests will be done only until around 14:00. Adina Chirvas
