On the evening of November 24, talking to PLO, Mr. Vu Huy Hao, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ghenh Rang Ward, Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh Province) confirmed that in the ward, there had just been a fatal stabbing due to a traffic collision. . The victim who died was Tran Van Dung (33 years old, living in area 4, Ghenh Rang ward), a truck driver.
According to initial information, at 5:20 p.m. on November 24, Truong Viet Cuong (40 years old, living in Hai Cang ward, Quy Nhon city) controlled the tank from a gas station in Ghenh Rang ward to Highway 1D.
At the same time, Tran Van Dung was driving a truck on Highway 1D heading north and almost collided with Cuong’s car, so the two had a conflict and quarrel.
After that, Cuong suddenly ran to his car, took a switchblade, and stabbed Dung in the left chest, causing injury. The victim was taken to the emergency room but did not survive.
Authorities were present at the scene and arrested Truong Viet Cuong to investigate and clarify the case.
Mr. Hao further informed that the ward is currently sending people to monitor the situation and coordinate with authorities to clarify the case.
