Discounts on high-speed train tickets continue until December, prices start from IDR 200 thousand

PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) announced ticket promo rates Whoosh Fast Car continues until December 2023. Tickets can be ordered November 24, 2023.

KCIC Main Director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi said the promo fare from Monday to Thursday for premium economy class was sold for IDR 200 thousand. Meanwhile, from Friday to Sunday, tickets are sold for IDR 250 thousand.

“On Monday to Thursday, for Premium Economy class tickets will be sold for IDR 200,000. Meanwhile for weekends, Friday to Sunday, premium economy tickets will be sold for IDR 250,000,” said Dwiyana in a written press statement, Friday (24/11/2023).

Dwiyana said all fares include free Feeder Train travel from Padalarang Station to Bandung Station and vice versa. He said that the implementation of promotional fares and additional trips was carried out to provide more opportunities for people who wanted to use the Whoosh Fast Train.

“In December there will be 40 trips per day from Monday to Thursday and 48 trips per day on weekends, namely Friday to Sunday,” he said

Whoosh ticket ordering routes are currently increasingly diverse, apart from being able to be done via the Whoosh application, webticket.kcic.co.id, counters and Ticket Vending Machines. There are also a number of official KCIC partners for ordering Whoosh tickets via applications such as Access by KAI, Livin by Mandiri, and BRImo.

Since the start of operation on October 17 2023 to November 22 2023, the Whoosh Fast Train has served 491 thousand passengers. The highest average number of passengers reaches 21 thousand per day on weekends and 18 thousand per day on weekdays.

Currently, KCIC has collaborated with a number of popular tourist locations in the Bandung area, such as Dusun Bambu, Farmhouse, Floating Market Lembang, The Great Asia Africa, Lakeside tourism and Healing City Edge tourism.

At this tourist location, various promotions are provided for free entry to tourist destinations in Bandung using Whoosh Fast Train tickets. Specifically for the Dusun Bambu Tour, passengers can use the free shuttle from Padalarang Station.

To make it easier for people to access the High Speed ​​Train Station, KCIC has also collaborated with various operators to provide intermodal integration. At Halim Station there is the Jabodebek LRT, Damri to Soekarno Hatta airport, Transjakarta and special conventional taxi services.

As for Padalarang Station, there is a Feeder train for passengers going to Cimahi Station and Bandung Station and others, there are also Commuter line Bandung Raya and Commuterline Garut trains which can be accessed directly by Whoosh train passengers at Padalarang Station.

Meanwhile, for Tegalluar Station, passenger access has become easier through the opening of the KM 149 toll exit and the new Cibiru bridge to get to Tegalluar Station.

Apart from that, there is also a Damri service to Bandung Station via the Al Jabbar mosque, Gedebage Station, Metro Indah Mall, Trans Studio Mall, Jalan Asia Afrika, Bandung square and Pasar Baru as well as a shuttle bus to the Summarecon area.
