Russia considers Moldova’s decision to join EU sanctions against it a hostile step aimed at destroying relations with Moscow and will take retaliatory measures, Russia’s foreign ministry said today, quoted by Reuters, BTA writes.
“We consider this to be another hostile step by the Moldovan leadership, which is fully integrated into the anti-Russian campaign of the ‘collective West,'” the Russian ministry said in a statement. “Its aim is the complete destruction of Russian-Moldovan relations, which, through of official Chisinau, are already in a very deplorable state,” it added.
The ministry also said Moscow would take retaliatory measures.
