Kapil Dev on his debut in Tamil cinema; Started with Rajini, finished dubbing

Chennai: The first innings of former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev’s Tamil movie is over. Kapil is acting in the film ‘Lalsalam’ directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya.

The shooting of this was recently completed. Dubbing has been completed now. Director Aishwarya announced through X that the legendary cricketer Lalsalam has finished dubbing.

Lalsalam, which has the distinction of being Kapil Dev’s first Tamil film after having acted in Hindi and Telugu films, has a cricket-related theme. Vishnu Vishal is the hero. Rajinikanth also appears in the film.

The other actors are Senthil, Jeeva, Thambi Ramaiah, Anantika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna and Thankadurai. A.R. Music is composed by Rahman. The story and dialogues are by Vishnu Rangaswamy. Lal Salaam is the film directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth after the films 3 and Vei Raja Vei and the documentary Cinema Veeran. Aishwarya Rajinikanth is a singer and dubbing artist.
