First in the world, Realme GT5 Pro is confirmed to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and periscope lens

Liu Shenghong, Qualcomm’s Product Marketing Director, said that Qualcomm has collaborated very closely with Realme. Realme GT5 Pro is the first smartphone to feature the third generation Snapdragon 8 Mobile Platform, which is capable of providing a completely new performance experience for users.

“The three ISPs of this flagship chipset are equipped with excellent processing capabilities. Combined with the new Qualcomm AI engine, this chipset improves image quality to a level that has never been achieved before, enabling superior imaging performance,” explained Liu in his statement.

A periscope telephoto lens is an important factor in producing good image quality. realme GT5 Pro is supported by a super light periscope telephoto lens and is the leader in low light photography which has high specifications equivalent to the main camera.

In terms of hardware, the Sony IMX890 has a super large 1/1.56 inch sensor, surpassing the OV64B by 76% and the JN1 by 104%. With an f/2.6 aperture, this camera supports 3x optical zoom, OIS + EIS for the best stabilization, all-pixel omni-directional focus, and other advanced technologies.

Overall light sensitivity (photosensitivity) is increased by 215% compared to the JN1 sensor, ensuring excellent performance in low-light conditions and allowing users to take clear, high-quality photos every time. The super light periscope telephoto lens with the Sony IMX890 sensor used by the realme GT5 Pro is currently the largest and most light-sensitive periscope telephoto lens ever in the smartphone industry.

The 50MP periscope telephoto lens, combined with a powerful OIS + EIS stabilizer system, supports super zoom up to 120x, ensuring extreme clarity even at maximum zoom and reaching the peak of telephoto imaging quality.
