Events, missions, relationship networks: the new office of Colibri junior consultancy, an association of Sciences Po Grenoble, has plenty of projects to bring professional life into focus.
“On the ground, everything becomes more concrete”
“The goal of these activities is that students can have experiences and discover professional fields to choose what they will do later,” explains Ilham Akkouh, president. When we go out into the field and meet people or carry out missions, everything becomes much more concrete. »
Finding missions with commercial or public structures to offer to students is the job of Louna Sainty and Elvira Garcia-Bosh-de-Morales, managers of the commercial center. “As we have a fairly multidisciplinary profile, the missions can take many different forms,” explains Louna. Last year, we carried out a mission for GEG (Gaz Electrique de Grenoble) in the form of a qualitative survey on the sociological relationship of students to energy. We are continuing this collaboration for this mandate with a quantitative survey on the sociological relationship of Isère residents to energy. This is linked to the skills we acquire at Sciences Po. Then, we will provide an analysis which will allow GEG to identify the socio-energetic profiles of the Isère residents. »
Another axis of their activity is the creation of events. “Before, we mainly held conferences and coffee debates with personalities. This year, we are launching a new format, called discovery day, where we go to meet former Sciences Po students or personalities who have inspiring backgrounds to exchange with them and, if possible, visit their premises, talk to their collaborators, to then be able to share the experience with Sciences Po students,” explains Eléonore Thévenot from the events center.
For the careers area of the Institute of Political Studies, the association is preparing a round table on the social and solidarity economy and is participating in the organization of orientation and professionalization month.

Building a network of relationships within various structures is an asset that the association wishes to develop. “A large part of our activity consists of creating a network which can be used to secure missions for students or discover new professions and sectors,” explains Éléonore. The team relies on the meetings it organizes with former science trackers, on training and meetings organized by structures such as Pépite oZer, the University’s student entrepreneur project incubator or on events such as the 3e ESS meeting, organized at French tech in Grenoble by the local economic pact. The creation of the network also concerns relationships with other junior enterprises.
