It is known that these victims, who were acquaintances of Jeon Cheong-jo, suffered a total investment loss of 110 million won.

In addition, in a letter delivered through his family the day before, Jeon Cheong-jo said, “I wish I could meet with my mother once,” and “I am suffering as much as the sin I committed.”

At the same time, he wrote, “Just like the sense of betrayal that many people felt from me, I also feel the same way towards (Nam) Hyun-hee. Hyun-hee does the same to me.” He wrote something that seemed to blame Nam Hyun-hee (42), who he remarried but then broke up with.

Meanwhile, after publicly announcing that Nam Hyun-hee and Jeon Cheong-jo were planning to get married, they broke up as various suspicions arose about Jeon Cheong-jo. In this process, it was revealed that Jeon Cheong-jo had been accused of several counts of fraud and attempted fraud.

Currently, Jeon Cheong-jo is being arrested on charges of investment fraud worth a total of 3.5 billion won against 30 victims. The police are also investigating whether Nam Hyun-hee conspired in fraud.
