It was at 1.30pm that the police reported a call to the Saupstad health center in Trondheim.
The two employees are conscious and taken to hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening, the police report.
At 1.54pm the police report that two people have been arrested and suspected of the violent incident.
The police warn that they will later issue a press release regarding the incident.
Saupstad health center offers pregnancy guidance for pregnant women and health services for children aged 0–5 in the Heimdal district.
– It is very serious that employees at work are attacked with sharp objects, says communications manager in Trondheim municipality Harry Tiller to VG.
He states that the municipality has set up a crisis team and sent unit managers to the scene to get an overview.
– We will ensure good and sufficient follow-up for the injured and other employees at the health centre.
The communications manager says that the incident affects the entire organisation, not least those who are in the front line with the public.
– Of course, we will also follow up on all routines and the safety of those who work in these advanced positions, says Tiller.
