Guus Meeuwis, Thomas Acda and Paul de Munnik have joined forces for a new Christmas song. The number of the trio is called Anyway and will be released on Friday, November 24.
The three have shared the stage before, but have now entered the studio together for the first time. Acda and Meeuwis had shared the ambition to make a Christmas record for some time. The plan was brought up again and again when the fellow artists encountered each other backstage.
De Munnik also appeared to be enthusiastic about the idea last June during Groots met een soft G. “Before we knew it, we were one writing session and one song later and we were standing with 30 degrees and beads of sweat on our foreheads singing our Christmas song,” they say.
Anyway can be streamed everywhere from Friday.
