Two months before the new Pro League season, the president of the association of Elite Football Clubs of Madagascar (CFEM), Henintsoa Rakotoarimanana known as Tôta, announced that a new formula will be brought to this national elite championship. He announced that the 16 competing teams will compete in the form of a single group in the first leg only. However, the implementation of this innovation is not yet official. Indeed, several changes are in progress but we are still waiting for the official announcement. The competition will last six months, notably from January to June 2024. As a reminder, Fosa Juniors was crowned champion of this season to the detriment of AS Fanalamanga.
