The kingfishers and the American center player part ways. Cheah returns to her second home…

After two months of successful collaboration, Cheah Rael-Whitsitt and the Kingfishers part ways. Cheah came to Freiburg in mid-September as a replacement for the injured Rika Tanimura. After only a short adjustment, Cheah impressed with an average of 12.4 points and 7.6 rebounds in just under 27 minutes per game. Now her path leads back to her partner in Iceland, where Cheah has already played basketball professionally. The Kingfishers would like to thank Cheah Rael-Whitsitt for her commitment and wish her all the best for her future.

The Kingfishers now trust their center quartet Annika Soltau, Emi Kapitza, Karla Gergelova and Mirna Paunovic, but are keeping their eyes open for a possible new signing.
