People aged 60 and older, adults up to 60 years old who receive an invitation for the flu shot and healthcare workers with direct patient contact, can still get a corona shot from the GGD until Saturday, December 16. After that, the autumn round will officially stop and these groups will no longer be able to receive a corona shot.
You can make an appointment for the large corona vaccination locations of Hecht GGD Hollands Midden in Alphen aan den Rijn, Gouda and Leiden via www.planjeprik.nl or 0800 – 7070. You can also walk in without an appointment. If the queue becomes too long, visitors are asked to get the shot later without an appointment. Anyone who makes an appointment is always assured of an injection.
However, it will not be possible for much longer to get a corona vaccination in Alphen aan den Rijn. The corona vaccination location at the Nieuwe Sloot is open until December 16 on Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
The corona shot will remain available after December 16 for pregnant women and for people with a referral from a medical specialist. This also applies to people who would like a corona shot to protect someone with vulnerable health in their immediate environment. The GGD will announce later where these groups can get the corona shot in 2024.
