• Internal loan: It consists of providing the collection to users, only within the library reading rooms.
• External or home loan: Service intended for those who have a current user registration, consists of providing them with documentary material for use outside the library spaces.
• Interlibrary loan: Service for those with registration as a current user that consists of obtaining from a library outside the Institution and with which an agreement has been signed for this purpose, documents that are not in the system’s collections.

Important points regarding the home loan

1. When the requested material is on loan, the user has the option to reserve it.
2. The renewal of material can be carried out physically or electronically up to 2 times by the user, within the established periods, as long as the material has not been requested by another person.
3. The electronic renewal is carried out directly by the user on the equipment intended for automated lending in the Libraries that have the system.
4. The physical renewal is carried out directly in the loan module in the Library that is offering the service.
5. The return of material will only be made directly physically at the loan counter of the corresponding Library.
6. The self-loan service allows the user to loan books in an automated manner through a server, allowing the procedure to be carried out by simply passing the credential in front of the machine’s scanner and passing the barcode of the selected book, loading into immediately the material, you must receive the printed receipt with the data of the materials and the date of receipt and return.
