After the arrest of the dancer Houria… Get to know the dancers who deviated from public morals – Masrawy – Masrawy

The security authorities arrested the dancer “Houria” on the basis of a report accusing her of arousing instincts and inciting vice during concerts she performed in the North Coast region during the last summer season.
This brought to mind dancers who were in many crises due to their violation of public morals and when lawyers filed lawsuits against them, demanding that they be imprisoned in an attempt not to spread vice.
In this report, we present to you the most prominent dancers who caused crises and were imprisoned due to moral issues:

1-Safinaz

The dancer “Safinaz” was arrested in 2014 while presenting a belly dance show in one of the major hotels in Cairo. Accusations were brought of violating the contract between her and one of the other hotels, which she had failed to attend. A temporary decision was issued to imprison her, which only took hours and she was released, in addition to another situation. She was sentenced to 6 months in prison and fined 15,000 pounds after she was accused of insulting the Egyptian flag after she wore it as a dance costume, which sparked great controversy and many demanded that she be banned from dancing in Egypt.

2- Pardis

Dancer Pardis was arrested in 2015 after she was accused of spreading immorality and incitement to immorality through a number of video clips that she published on her official accounts on social networking sites, during which she appeared in revealing dresses. She was sentenced to 6 months in prison, after which she decided to retire from dancing.

3- Jewel

The show dancer, Jawhara, was arrested in 2018 after social media users circulated a video clip in which she appeared wearing a dance suit that was inconsistent with public morals. Several charges were filed, including not dancing in a dance suit that did not meet the specifications, and she was arrested by the tourism police.

4-Shakira

Show dancer Shakira was arrested after she released the song “Al-Kamin” in 2014, which achieved great success and high viewership rates. She was accused of incitement to debauchery and debauchery and was sentenced to 6 months in prison.
