DThe results of Biodiversity Day were processed into a book.
In 2021, the team from the Vienna Woods Biosphere Park was a guest in Eichgraben for the “Biodiversity Day”. Around 65 experts spent 24 hours traveling around the municipality to research the local biodiversity. Around 1,600 species of plants, animals and fungi were identified. The results were summarized in a book.
On Thursday, November 30th, the time has come and the book with the findings on the finds as part of “Biodiversity Day 2021” will be presented to the public.
The various habitats and special species of animals, plants and fungi are presented in a lecture rich in images and a free copy is distributed to visitors. During a lecture full of images, they will immerse themselves in the various habitats of the Eichgraben community and learn interesting facts about rare and special nature conservation species.
Following the presentation, the market town of Eichgraben invites you to a regional, sustainable snack. Interested visitors can take the results of the project home with them as a free book with lots of pictures of plants, animals, fungi and habitats.
The event in the community center begins at 6:30 p.m.
