The Party’s election winning body (Bappilu). Gerindra, West Java, holding consolidation. Chairman of the West Java Gerindra Bappilu, Aries Marsudiyanto, said that his party had collaborated with several figures, including the former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries for the 2014-2019 period, Susi Pudjiastuti.
“There are many (figures). Mrs. Susi, yes, all kinds. Mr. Umuh Muchtar from Persib, all kinds, there are lots of people who are ready to join us, yes, ulama, figures, businessmen, there are lots of them,” said Aries Marsudiyanto in Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, Monday (20/11/2023).
Aries explained that he would place Susi as one of the Honorary Council members of Bappilu. He believes that everyone who is part of Bappilu will unite their forces for the victory of the Gerindra Party in West Java.
“Oh, we put him on our Honorary Council at Bappilu. I think everyone has their own share. Some are in the field, some have ideas, all of them are synergistic,” explained Aries.
“Oh, everyone (is moving), we are collaborating. There is Mr. Ridwan Kamil, there is Mr. Deddy Mulyadi, Mr. Iwan (foreigner), there are lots of community figures, political figures, business figures in West Java. Many of these are ringing up, so that helps “We, yes, we just need to be synergistic in the field like that, I think 2.5 months is still enough,” he added.
Aris stated that he was optimistic about the existing team framework in the Regional Campaign Team (TKD) and Bappilu. According to him everything will work fine.
“We are optimistic, God willing. If we work well, work sincerely, with clean hearts, yes for the community, all for the sake of the nation and state, yes the people will also be able to judge all of that,” he concluded.
