Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia: Two suspects identified after nationwide series of bomb threats – WELT

NAfter a nationwide series of bomb threats, including against schools, two suspects have been identified. A 30-year-old from North Rhine-Westphalia and a 19-year-old from Baden-Württemberg are said to belong to a group that attracted attention with crimes on the Internet such as false emergency calls, as the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office and the Stuttgart public prosecutor’s office announced on Monday. Two apartments were searched and evidence was confiscated.

They threatened to kill many innocent people. Because of the more than 250 threats, including against schools and authorities, the police were deployed more than 30 times and there were often evacuations.

The 30-year-old comes from North Rhine-Westphalia. According to the current status of the investigation, he is accused of involvement in 29 bomb threats. The 19-year-old from Baden-Württemberg is said to have been involved in four threats. Two apartments were reportedly searched and evidence was confiscated.
