Jorge Martin’s Disappointment in MotoGP Qatar 2023 at Lusail Circuit

Jorge Martin failed to finish in the top three and ended the race MotoGP Qatar 2023 in tenth position. Team riders Pramac Racing It’s the fault of the motorbike tires.

The Qatar MotoGP took place at the Lusail Circuit, Monday (20/11/2023) early morning WIB. Martin started the race in fifth position.

Martin flinched and almost fell when the race had just started. This made him fall to eighth position on the first lap.

Jorge Martin Next, he had a quick clash with Maverick Vinales, Marc Marquez and Fabio Quartararo. Martinator then he was overtaken by other riders such as Enea Bastianini and Jack Miller and had to finish in tenth position.

Fabio Di Giannantonio who managed to win the race MotoGP Qatar 2023. The Italian rider outperformed his two compatriots, Francesco Bagnaia and Luca Marini.

Martin admitted that he was disappointed with the results he achieved at the Lusail Circuit. The Spanish racer mainly complained about his rear tire not working properly.

“For sure I felt uncomfortable. You saw at the start that I had a big spin and you can understand what happened; the rear tire wasn’t working well,” Martin told MotoGP after the race.

“I’m very disappointed because the championship is decided by bad tires, but this happened to me. It’s very unfortunate. But that’s how it is,” he added.

“I was struggling hard. I had no rear grip. I couldn’t stop the bike. I couldn’t turn. I couldn’t accelerate. It was like wet conditions.”

“I think with my experience I can at least pick up some points [malam ini] which is not easy. “Now we are moving forward and hopefully we can do it in Valencia,” he explained.

Failure Jorge Martin winning the podium in Qatar made the points gap with Bagnaia in the standings even further away. Pecco is at the top with 437 points, 21 points ahead of Martinator (416 poin).
