I bought my last TV in November 2014 along with a PS4. It was a 40″ Samsung Led 1080p supporting 3D. And last summer I bought a PS5 and naturally decided to buy a new 4k TV.
I read some article on this site where it was recommended to buy a TV with an OLED screen. I studied this issue for a couple more weeks and chose a suitable TV, then it was LG oled42c2rla. Well, I started saving money, since borrowing money is not in my rules.

The new LG is much thinner, but heavier.
This month I collected the required amount and was happy to notice that the dollar had dropped by 10 rubles and the TV had fallen in price by 15k compared to September. And also here at DTF, one guy convinced me that you shouldn’t take 42”, you need to take 55”. Since my room is not large 14 m2, I settled on a compromise of 48″. A more recent model of 2023 appeared on sale – LG OLED48C3RLA. It differs in that it has a fresh processor and is better able to upscale content in low resolution. In general, I took it. it didn’t cost much more.
I bought it through Avito, but in a store that is physically located on Gorbushka, I won’t write the name. On their website their prices are higher than what they sell on Avito. It seems they explained to me that there is no difference, the warranty is the same, one year. TV production in Poland for Belarus.
Two guys delivered it on the same day I ordered it, 7 hours later. They got it and installed it. They started checking for dead pixels. And then I noticed artifacts: A pair of vertical transparent stripes and a black dot in the corner that does not change from different colors. The guys said it was a film, I suggested removing it, they looked at each other and called the boss. The boss said let’s tear it down! The film was peeled off and YES the defects came off with it!
Then I spent the rest of the day going to Fcenter to get a new HDMI 2.1 cable and bolts to hang the TV on the wall because the kit doesn’t come with 4 M6 bolts 🙁
Important point! I took some wine, drank it, played a couple of levels in GT7, for some reason I didn’t get the wow effect and went to bed. In the morning I realized why! It turned out that my console worked through the first PS vr helmet and this greatly disfigured the picture and did not allow me to raise the resolution and enable HDR. I turned it on direct and everything just became gorgeous! I played in 4K for the first time in my life today and I say it’s very cool. Now I’ll definitely finish RE4R.
It’s impossible to convey what good graphics is, and my pictures don’t convey that either. You just need to play this yourself. I am very pleased and recommend PS5 + Large OLED TV 4k to everyone.
