The price of gold stabilized today, Sunday, in Egypt by evening trading, compared to its level in the middle of trading, according to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.

The price of a gram of gold fell by 5 pounds at the beginning of trading compared to its level yesterday evening, before it returned to compensate for its loss in the middle of trading, rising by the same value.

Gold prices today

14 karat gold prices stabilized at 1,813 pounds per gram.

The price of 18 karat gold was about 2331 pounds per gram.

The price of 21 carat gold reached 2720 pounds per gram.

The price of 24 karat gold stabilized at 3,109 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound

The price of the gold pound settled at 21,760 pounds, and the price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.

Gold price globally

Today is a weekly holiday in global markets, including commodity and metal exchanges.

The price of gold globally declined to about $1,981 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat), at the end of trading yesterday, Friday, with a slight decrease of $0.08 compared to its level at the end of last Thursday’s trading, according to Bloomberg data.
